I want to serve it for shabbos lunch, & don't have a way to heat it up. Will it be good?
P.S. If anyone has a great recipe to share, I'd love that.

Mine is great at room temperature. THis is the recipe:
Sweet Potato Pie
Mix and then put in pie crust:
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup non dairy milk (use soy)
1/4 cup melted margarine (I use oil)
mix and then add
(5 cooked medium sweet potatoes-) 2.5 cups mashed cooked sweet potatoes
Top:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup melted margarine (I use oil)
1/4 cup chopped pecans
bake 350' 45 minutes

Thank you all for your help!
Rise above, thanks so much for the recipe, it is exactly what I was looking for.
2 questions:
Can this be made today for shabbos lunch or will it be better if it was made tomorrow?
Can I use a graham cracker crust?
Thanks so much.

It's in the oven now & it looks delicious. Thanks so much!
I decided to be adventurous & use a graham cracker crust because that is what I had. I'll let you know how it turns out!

| I don't have non-diary creamer or any pareve milk at hand? Do you think I can use OJ as a substitute?

| I personally would not use OJ, I don't know if it will set the same as a "milk." plus I think it will change the flavor completely. Just my opinion...maybe someone else knows better.

I agree, I wouldn't use OJ either because I wouldn't want the OJ flavor. But if you don't mind an OJ flavor, I think it would probably be fine.

I would not use OJ, I would use water and maybe another egg white.
my recipe is a bit different anyway, no oil and more eggs, and we add cinnamon.
my family eats it hot, warm or cold (I dont care for it at all so I cant speak from personal experience)

| Thanks guys! I did it anyway- I was too sick to even think. I hope it came out fine. (I usually taste the batter, but didn't) I can always blame in on DH if it doesn't because he left it in too long...lol! ( I went to bed and gave him instructions).
