| A little heavy with big kids in it. I often put a big kid in back and little one in front-bec back is stronger (its closer to the wheels). I like it that it has a big basket, narrow, and easy to push. I also like that I can use it as a double only when I want-and dont need to clutter my house with a single and double. I will say that as a double-you cannot fold it without taking off 1 of the seats. I think 1 store said you can fold it-but I have never figured out how! I also like that the tires are foam filled and never lose the air-like my other jogger. All in all happy-and iv'e had MANY strollers (I think 7 to be exact!)

Thanks so much! What about the rain covers---I assumed its included in the price of carriage but realized now its $40 for each seat or I should get one big plastic cover?

| I guess it depends how you plan on using it. Will you use it primarily as a single or a double?! I did not even look into the rain covers, as all my children hate them! They are always lifting them up so they can see more clearly. I will say that the hoods of each seat go pretty much down to the bottom-if you pull them all the way down. If it is raining, I pull the hoods down and cover their feet with blankets. Also you prob don't have to buy their customized cover. Most stores sell generic rain covers that will cover standard carriage sizes. I doubt they are $40!

| I just saw someone using this today with big kid in back, and bassinet on top. It looked like the back seat was quite squashy. Is it?

| It is a very versatile carriage-so you can turn both seats either way. If you feel it is squishy with both kids facing the same direction-you can make the top seat facing you-and the lower seat facing the other way-this way they are not touching each other. Its fun to try out the different options and see what works best for you and your kids! Abt. the rain cover, like I said-the hood really covers the seat. Don't know abt the bassinet bec. didn't buy one, but the regular seats do have the same hood as the reg. city mini. I didn't use a rain cover for that carriage either, but maybe its just me!

after using my select for 4 months, I sold it.
main reasons I told it:
super duper heavy to push as a double
forget going over curbs
doesnt turn easy
couldnt imagine handling it in the snow - I live in NYC where they don't clean the streets!

| I agree with falafel. I don't have this stroller, but I have friends and family who do. . . I've pushed it a few times with 2 kids under the age of 2, and it was heavy and bulky. As long as you're pushing straight, and on smooth terrain, it's fine. If you need to turn a corner or go up and down curbs- forget it! It reminded me of the double strollers of the 90's. From my limited experience using it, I wouldn't buy one for myself.

I have it and love it. Sold my City Mini for it. I use it for my 2 yr old and my 5 month old. Sometimes my 3 yr old switches with the 2 yr old and sometimes I have a buggy board on it as well. Is it hard to push, yes. But not harder than my City mini double and I have the option to make it a single when my older 2 are in gan and I only have the baby. As a single, its a dream.
I find the hoods are not as good as the City mini, unless I am not using them right. There is a zipper on the end and it looks like there should be something to attach to make it longer, but I don't know what/where.

Oh great! I am trying to compare the City Mini and Select! What pro/cons does each have? I am looking for double stroller---How is it pushing with the 2 and 3 year old? Why did you sell the city mini? Please help me decide between these 2 strollers. Thanks

| Before I got my double stroller was looking into the city select since it sounded great. Once I started looking at weight and dimensions and compared it to the city mini I thought it wasn't worth it. The city select is quite heavy, pretty wide, and costs probably double (if not more with the 2nd seat). You have the convenience of using it as a single carriage, and it definitely is a little narrower than the city mini. I have the city mini and am very happy! It fits through all doors, folds very easily - as opposed to the city select which is a nightmare if you have a car and have to fold it often.

There is a store that's selling the 2 carriages for $110 difference.
