| my dds (not my sons) always got lots of rashes. I never thought to switch diaper brands since I was happy with pampers in general. so I just put a thin layer of cream at EVERY diaper change. and the rashes now come only infrequently.

| Triple paste is a great diaper rash cream.

| Our first had rashes more yes than no. For our subsequent babies, we switched to baby dry and B''H it hasn't caused such problems.

We haven't had recurring problems with any kind of diapers, BH. But when a rash crops up, the cream could be making a difference. We have good results with Burt's Bees cream, and I've heard a lot about their powder, too.
Also, for recurring rashes, I would get it checked to make sure it's not yeast--which needs different treatment!

| I know some people are just not interested, but I've used cloth diapers with some kids and, apart from one yeast infection with one, never had any diaper rash issues. And anecdotally know lots of others with the same experience. They are undeniably more hassle than disposables, but if you deal with rash flare-ups a lot, they might be less hassle than that. YMMV.

why don't you try the size 1-2 from Pampers Swaddlers?
I would suggest you first try a small package, even though it costs more, or buy a larger, and if you aren't happy, then sell the rest to someone else.
Just wanted to bring to your attention: rashes on baby bottoms are not ALWAYS from the diaper.
DS used to get food allergy rashes on his bottom.
When he reacted to the Huggies diapers, the rash showed up on his face.
Funny, but it was very clear.

If you get the all in one diapers, its not much more hassle than disposable. Especially if you use those paper liners.
It does mean an extra load of diapers every day or two. But its not a huge deal. _________________ Never mistake activity for achievement.
