mine is almost one. drinks water, (has formula 2x daily and nurses 3x) eats: string beans, peas, cooked sweet potatoes, carrots, zuccini, butternut squash, celery (well boiled), egg yolk, salmon, chicken, apples, bananas, pears, grapes- peeled or cut into quarters, shredded munster(sp?) cheese, string cheese- mozarella(sp?), american cheese, cheerios, avocado, tea buscuits (for snack), meatballs...
I know what to feed, but I dont know how much. can future posters add in the quantities of each thing their dc eats, over the course of the day.
thanks

My one year old (almost 1 1/2 now) is quite a bit eater (especially for her tiny size!) She eats fruit in the morning (a whole banana and some apple/dates in the winter; an entire mango and maybe some grapes in the summer.) Then she'll eat an avocado and a whole wheat roll. And then she'll eat lunch with us (usually some form of grain/legume like lentil stew and brown rice.) She has a big appetite and loves it, so a few bowls (small baby bowls, that is!) of that. Then a Corn Thin/cracker or two to munch on in the late afternoon. And some more fruit/something light in the evening. This kid EATS!

| Oh! And she drinks water only (unless she's running a fever...then I'll give her diluted white grape juice) and nurses about 3 times a day (sometimes more, sometimes less).

Mine (16 months) has big eating days and days where almost nothing goes in, but I have a good idea of his average.
He doesn't nurse anymore (recent, no milk this late in my pregnancy!), but he drinks 2 sippy cups of milk a day around meals and water in between. He has a regular water bottle that he goes to when he's thirsty (although just as often he squirts on the ground after he drinks!)
Breakfast is usually 1 yogurt cup and 1/2 banana or apple, sometimes some dry cereal while his brothers finish. He also loves waffles, pancakes, cereal with milk, etc. Used to like bagel and cream cheese, but apparently, that's off the list now.
Lunch is pasta and protein source of some kind, usually about 2 handfuls of pasta and 1 of protein (chicken chunks for cheese). Some veggies in small pieces, too, while I get it ready. He insists on feeding himself.
Dinner is usually what we have, but less. He seems to eat less later in the day.
Snacks are usually after his nap (afternoon), sometimes between breakfast and lunch, just crackers, dry cereal, carrots, cheese chunks, peas, or corn. He also loves cereal with milk if I can find the time to sit and feed him in the afternoon!

| Mine drinks water and whole milk, and eats pretty much everything we eat (and anything that she can steal from her sisters). I'm lucky this one likes food.

| Mine- 14 months, eat oatmeal cereal for breakfast. Banana, apple sauce for lunch. & for dinner whatever we have, but sooo little. Inbetween they love to eat "cookies"!! Snacks, grapes.but I realized I never give them to drink (only a bottle formula wen waking up, a bottle juice by to their nap, & formula again @nite to bed. Is this enough? Their food and their drink?? Please advice!

| here are some things my 15 month old eats (not all these things in one day but just an idea of things she does eat): grilled cheese, potato kugel, chicken, banana, yobaby yogurts, plain cheese, pretzels, apple pieces cut up small, scrambled egg...just to name a few. she's not a big eater so she won't eat big quantities though. and she drinks whole milk, about 25-30 oz a day
