I agree 100%. Shouldnt the judge need to bring proof that this wig wasnt from georges? how in the world would someone on the phone be able to judge if a wig was bought there or not???
I cringed when they said it was from georges cuz I didnt think they sell wigs for 3K but I maybe I dont know everything.
I was also upset with the guy who pushed a mike into their face when they left the court room, he was obviously very biased and hateful.
I think the worst part of the whole story is that the judge didnt beleive this couple for one second. She had to call georges to verify if this wig was bougt there. When people see frum jews they autimatically dont trust. That is the saddest part.

Actually, if you believe that article -- and I'll explain why I don't -- it demonstrates beyond any doubt whatsoever that the plaintiff lied under oath and attempted to commit fraud. You see, she was asking for $3000 for a ruined sheitl, and swore those were her damages. However, according to those writings, she was out only $1500 to replace the sheitl. That's perjury.
As to why I don't believe it -- the judge was clearly unfamiliar with sheitls, and asked the plainitff a few questions about the one she was wearing. If, in fact, it was a replacement for the ruined sheitl, and looked like it, she would have told the judge exactly that. She didn't. Also, when asked whether she had asked about whether repair was feasible, she said that she went to 3 places, and was told it could not be repaired. What she did not say was -- and one of the places, where I bought the sheitl, replaced it at cost because of that. *That* would have been pretty valuable testimony. But repeatedly pressed about proving that the sheitl was beyond repair, that never came up. | She was saying the ruined sheitle cost 3000. The fact that the sheitle macher took pity on her and sold her the next one for half that amount has no bearing on the matter. This isn't an insurance claim where you get paid to replace the wig. This is a case where you take a person to court over damage they have done and the price of the replacement has no bearing on the case.

They always push the mike to both parties after each case. I just think the couple wasn't prepared/. If they spoke better and had more proof it would've ended very differently.
