Thick cotton or cotton-blend tights

Any tips on where to find these? The catch is I'm tall. Most of the standard cotton ones I've found are too short - and if they're all or mostly cotton they don't stretch as much as nylons. I don't really care about color or pattern (I'm normally in long skirts and high boots in the winter) but I want them for warmth here in my mid-West geula!

I tried Googling all the usual permutations but only found an English specialty place that sells a wide range of sizes in high quality wool and cotton blends ... for 20 pounds! Which is a bit more than I'm willing to spend, to say the least.

I can't be much help unfortunately but I'm in a similar position!

Since you're wearing long skirts and books anyway, how about some thick leggings with socks or even over a pair of regular tights?

You can get them from most "tall" shops at the moment but even if not you can just use a regular pair since they won't be seen anyway.
