| I can't find my cookbook and want to make the french onion soup! Would someone be able to type it up for me?? Thanks so much!

3 onions, sliced
3 T butter
1 T olive oil
2 T flour
4 cups water
4 tsp parve beef boullion
1/2 tsp each thyme, black pepper
salt to taste
4 slices french bread
1 cup shredded mozzarella
Saute onions in butter and olive oil 30 minutes until golden brown
Add flour and stir to coat
Add boullion, thyme, pepper to water and stir to dissolve, add to onions
Cook uncovered 20 minutes and add salt to taste
Ladle soup into oven proof bows, add slice bread each bowl, sprinkle cheese evenly over top
Put bowls on baking sheet and broil in oven about 2 minutes
Enjoy!

3 onions
3 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
4 cups water
4 teaspoons parve beef bouillon powder
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
salt to taste
4 (1 inch thick) slices of italian or french baguette
1 cup sgredded mozzarella
1.Slice onions in thin semi circles. Set aside.
2.On a medium flame place butter and olive oil. when butter melts, add the onions and cook uncovered for 30 min until they are soft and golden brown. Stir often to avoid burning.
3.add flour and stir to cover onions
4.pour water into a bowl. Add the bouillon powder, thyme, and black pepper. Mix to disolve the powder. Add to pot off onions.
5.turn heat to medium and cook uncovered for 20 minutes. Add salt to taste.
6.when done ladle into ovenproof crocks, float a slice of bread and sprinkle the cheese, place in the oven to broil untill cheese is melted.
