Adventures in Bread Making ?

Over the 25 years of our marriage, I baked for the first 10; by scratch and by hand. Then I got a bread machine but never really tweaked the reciepe enough to suit us, I started buying as it was really convenient and rolls were affordable.

Now it's not as convenient to buy and I'm back to baking by hand (bread machine died); and I'm loving it; I choose a different recipe every month, make enough to take challah, and it's sort of exciting to have something different with the seudah!

Anyone else have Adventures in Breadmaking, so to speak ?

I hate baking by hand, but I love the results so I do it anyway. One of these days when I figure out how to make the time I'll be the new "Challah Lady" at bas mitzvahs and such.
