| How do people keep their hair under a pony shaitel? My (cut short) hair is always sticking out, or I am nervous that it is !

I have a pony or clips under my shaitel, so its pretty easy to put it up.
How short is short? is there any way you can clip or tie your hair up?

| hair has to be either very short or very long for that style. or have more baby hairs added to cover yours.

| are you able to pull your ponytail sheitel into a high pony? I can't figure out how else your hair would be sticking out. if you can do you have to use a brush or is it just cut that way? mines so thick that I really have to work to pull it into a high pony so I usually just wear a low one.

After I make the pony, I use a comb to get all the wispy hairs from the sheital out. It gives it a messy look, but fits me and covers my hair. Basically, I hold the sheital down where I want to comb (on the bottom and sides), and comb outwards. I don't do it strongly or too much, so it doesn't pull out the actual hair from the pony- only a few short hairs.
I also occasionally shave off the very bottom hairs (possibly neck hairs, but I don't know enough to differentiate). This helps, too.

I wear my hair in a pony, pinned up, under my pony sheitel. I feel confident about the back being covered

Have you tried using tiny elastics like these http://www.coveryourhair.com/p.....ssory.html ?
When my hair was too short for a low pony I would use one of those to hold half my hair (like a half pony) and then use a second one on the bottom section of my hair.
since I was splitting into a top pony (again, liek a half pony) and a bottom pony (same way I'd wear a low pony) it kept everything together nicely.
When I had bangs that were still growing out after I got married I would use a kippah clip to hold them down. Sometimes I would need two - and stick them in in alternating directions (one open to the right and one open to the left)
a third method to get the wispy pieces to stay down is one of these elastic headbands http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA.....602_263622 there is a skinnier version I cant find online but they have them in drugstores
