I live in Jerusalem and want to improve the taste of the tap water. I'm considering either a Britta pitcher or a filter attached to the sink faucet if such a thing exists. Can anyone offer their advise as to what is better taste, ease of use and cost wise? (I'm not interested in purchasing bottled water or a water bar). Thanks

This is what I do,it's a bit of a tedious process but its free and really works:
Boil the water, let it cool and then freeze it. defrost and drink - perfectly clear taste and no stomach problems... Wink

Filters are sold all over. For the main water intake. There are sink filters. Brita filters. Simply go shopping.

I find that if I refrigerate the water and drink it cold it makes it much more palatable... No filter necessary

I have a Brita, & (try to) keep a pitcher of cold water in the fridge at all times.
