Hi,
My 4 yo is in a kaytana for three weeks and my 2 yo will have daycare till August 9th. There isn't a kaytana for the last week of July and I figured we'd just do stuff but a friend called that they are organizing one. I have a ten week old, and I still nap every day. Because kaytana is till one it means I do a few things in the house, sleep and then my 4 yo is home. I'm debating about the kaytana in the last week of july. On one hand kaytana is till one and gan is till four so there is more family time/chofesh on the other my husband thinks that we should be parenting our children and not sending them to other people all the time. I hear that, but I don't have so much koach and In August my 4 yo will have 2.5 weeks just at home with us. Sometimes I think when she's home all day, she gets bored.
What do you think, is camp for lazy parents, or is it realistic that parents and kids need some kind of break/structure.
