DS decided he doesnt like meatballs and spaghetti- its boring- Does anyone know of a recipe which I once made where you brown chopped meat with maybe onions? and then you add the spaghetti to the same pot as the browned meat.....Im confused as you can see.
Help!

With macaroni, I do this.
Brown the meat.
Add a can of sauce, diced tomatoes, oregano, whatever spices.
Add raw pasta.
Add water to make sure it's all covered.
Cook, covered, stirring very often to prevent sticking until it's all cooked. _________________ http://a-natural-birth.com

| I have a similar recipe - I brown meat in a pot, then I drain the fat, add about 2 cups of broth (or you can use water, just add spices) and veggies, and when the broth boils I throw in 1-2 cups of rotini pasta and let it cook until the noodles are done. You can substitute spaghetti and I'm sure it'll taste good. I'm sorry I don't have exact measurements, but I'm not at home, and anyway, this recipe can be tweaked according to taste...

This is a favorite in our house. Boil the spaghetti first, then make the rest in the same pot.
