I agree that Israel has a MAJOR PR issue. We either need to hire a very significant PR team whose sole job will be to make the state look good, or just NOT CARE what people think since we will most likely be condemned no matter what we do.
I still think though, that the Israeli government needs to create a PR position in the cabinet. Most of the issues we have could be avoided if we could figure out a way to look good. Or at least make the other guy look bad.

I honestly don't think having better PR would make any difference. I think the worlds mind is made up, and they simply are trying to fit the facts to the view...discarding any evidence to the contrary.
So better PR won't help.
I know I sound like a broken record. I've tweeted this, fbed it, posted it on my blog and said it here.
We are bowing to the wrong one. We should only be bowing before the ONE.
All else is at this point useless.

At times like these I'm grateful to have G-d's Plan Book for creation which tells us what we need to know and when. Without perspective from the Torah, this whole thing would be really confusing. Halacha Hi SheEisav Soneh Es Yaakov, history of Shibud Malchuyos until Moshiach comes, etc., makes it all crystal clear.

That's a great article.
I don't think the problem is quite global PR. I think its the situation.
Israel is a democratic, free country where people have human rights. Gaza is not like that - even if people abhor the Gaza government, they feel bad for the people.
There is no way for Israel to come out "right" according to the world except to remove the blockade and allow all goods into Gaza. And then to take the rockets on their soil without retaliation.

This contrasted with the Arab-Americans who appear at the end of the video. One girl said that a Palestinian state alongside Israel would not satisfy her, as “there should not be an Israeli state! The Israeli state does not even exist!”
Another Arab-speaking American explained, “The only reason Israel is doing this is because they got kicked out from, uh, the German whatever, whatever happened to them. So they’re trying to take out their anger to someone else.” Asked about the Bible and the Jewish presence in the Land of Israel since the times of King Solomon, he lowered his voice and said, “I don’t know about that.
