I went to Tuvia's last friday with my kids and I couldn't believe it but they sell the Brochos Book from a million years ago that I studied from in school for the brachos bee!! (the purple book with the father making kiddush while his family stands by). What a blast from the past!!!!
Anyway, I bought it and started to learn it with my kids - they range from 10 to 6. Anyone have any good suggestions on the best way to learn it with them? I do it during supper time when we are all together. for now I'm just having fun with them & letting them guess which bracha goes to which food (and believe it or not actually learning a thing or two myself).

| What my mother used to do for us was buy us the foods that we were not familiar with. That way we were not just memorizing. Things were real and we remembered them better. It totally worked - my sisters and all did really well in the brochos bees.

| OMG, they still sell that book??? I've been looking all over my mothers house for one the 5-6 we had when we were kids, but they seem to have all vanished! Does Tuvia's have a website?
