| I know of someone who borrowed a cat for a few days (when all else failed), and hung up the 'mouse Rebbe' picture. All clean in a very short period of time.

ok, no cat. I hate animals and to me the cat is just as bad as the mice.
We have tried EVERYTHING. I thought there are people who come and close holes up etc and guarantee their work. I live in a one bedroom apt it shouldn't cost THAT much and either way, we're pretty willing to pay.
Anyone have names? numbers?

You don't have to bring the cats inside, you can hate them as much as the mice while still benefiting from them. All you have to do is put out a little cat food every day outside. It's no different than putting out some bird seed for the birds. I wouldn't want birds in my house either but I don't mind feeding them outdoors.

I would speak to the super or whoever runs the place then. If it's like in Israel then everyone puts garbage in one place so that could attract mice. In Israel it's not a problem though because the place is overun with cats. I don't think mice even exist there do they  If you have a garbage room that's a good place to put out catfood assuming the cats can get in.
