False.

I saw a Maury Povitch where a girl slept with twin brothers. The DNA test for both of them was inconclusive because their DNA was too similiar or something. So you still need a protocol.

If two men are identical twins, their halachic status re: Jewish or not, Kohen or not, etc, is also identical.

men are very emotional. Often men seem to be governed by a desire for power, that colours all their actions.

Put it this way - women can be hormonal once a month, or while pregnant, men have hormones ALL the time.

And why does a Rabbi need to be a cold logical person? The best rabbis's I know are warm, caring people.

I think her point was that this could effect if the child was a mamzer or not

on leakage,

women generally leak on a schedule,
Men can leak whenever.

But being a rabbi is not like being a Kohen Gadol, a rabbi does not need to be pure and(, unlike a KG,) he has no special miracle keeping him pure.

Of course, we can all agree that a nice blend is helpful. But if you have to choose one or the other, we all know what we would choose.

Her whole point was that women are too emotional to be rabbis. If you want to argue for a blend, why don't we say that men are too coldly logical to be rabbis?

My point is that all these explanations are not true anymore, if they were even ever true. Men are not more logical than women and women are not more emotional than men.

But even if your argument was correct and men were more logical and women were more emotional, it would still not address why men are only suited to be rabbis, being that we all just agreed that both emotional intelligence and clear-headed logic are both important, right?

I wouldn't want to live in a world with just one or t'other....

But I don't see men or women as being inherently either logical or emotional.

BTW intuition is being given a bums rap. Intuition IS logic, but it is logic that is so quickly mastered as to be seemingly free of thought process. The brain is amazing and takes in a lot of data that we are not aware of. Intuition is simply very fast processing of this information on a subconscious level. Warning the E word comes into effect here; but if the hunter/gather life was normal for many a year, and the split was according to the dreaded S word, then it makes sense that women, who had to take in the finer details of plants (where they were, the colors, shapes of the leaves, ripeness and size of the berries, season etc) would require faster processing of very small pieces of data, as opposed to men who kind of had to know "Shoot there" and "that meats no good..."
