What can be teased in Noa already?

Trust me kids find a way when they want to. They used to sing Miriam Noach built a tevah. Then when I went to sem there were a couple of girls who knew me when I was young and one of them was one of the girls who used to tease me and she started it all over again. I was not amused. It brought back painful memories for me.
there's a middle aged man in kiryas Yoel I believe, whose name is miriam yocheved noach!

why?

about 50 or so years ago, His mother gave birth alone on shabbos in the hospital w/o her husband and they set up a code system - 5 phone rings for a girl, 7 phone rings for a boy. for some reason either the nurse messed up when she called to let them know, or they miscounted, bkitzur, the father of the baby then went to shul and named the baby Miriam yocheved. motzei shabbos he found out he had a boy.... so his name is miriam yocheved Noach.

btw - vice versa, a year ago someone in willy gave birth mamish five minutes before shabbos came in, the nurse said "IT'S A BOY!' the father said mazel tov and RUSHED BACK HOME TO WILLY and made it home 18 minutes into the shkiah, he made a beautiful sholom zochor. motzei shabbos he calls his wife who bursts out laughing - the nurse made a mistake, it was a girl, which she found out in the morning when they brought her the baby for a feeding. the next shabbos he nicely made a kiddush....

Mama Bear, that first story of yours is a horrible story (that a male went through life with the name Miriam).

And why would the "naming" at an aliya right after the birth of a boy be chal?

If I make an "al netilas lulav" is it Succos?

you can name a boy when you want. if the bris is very delayed you can name your son, although for some reason ppl don't.

How can you name a baby you haven't even seen???

Right, and I know some people who did that with sick babies that wanted a davening name (one named Yosef through an aliya and then added Chaim at the bris when the baby was close to a year old).

I should have been more clear. The female lashon - VaTikra Sh'ma B'Yisrael.
