Does anyone know who owns Trader Joes in Brooklyn?
I just need to know if they're Jewish or not - because I want to stock up on chometz again.

| Trader Joe is owned by one of Albrecht brothers who own Aldi (a German supermarket). I highly doubt they use franchisees.

| TJ's in Baltimore is okay to shop in post-Pesach. Don't know about the others...

| Some sites say that the albrecht brothers served in the Nazi army in world war 2. It doesn't give me a good feeling to shop in a german owned store.

| According to this year's Star K pesach guide, it is fine to shop at Trader Joe's immediately after Pesach.
