Right, but if you're logged in already, it appears the same for public and private _________________ אין עוד מלבדו

It might save time if posters would be careful about where we post. The problem is that if you usually browse the board logged in, it's not easy to remember what is public and what is private (except for the obvious ones). Perhaps the screen that you get after you click "Add reply" could have a notice warning you if you are posting on a public forum that can be read by anyone on the internet. (Or perhaps it should be earlier since that wouldn't help posters who use "quick reply." |
That's right, there should be some kind of warning when posting that it's on a public forum or public forums should be marked so, otherwise how can anyone know what's public and what's closed?

Yael, YOU are brilliant.
For those that don't "undertsand"...
We live in a world where antisemitism is a virus--can you imagine if some of our personal opinions about visiting or postponing a trip to Israel at this time or dealing with terrorosim etc. were cut and pasted to public sites and/or news articles??! Can you imagine yourself being quoted in Time magazine??!
This site is for FRUM mothers/women... IT is lovely that visitors can peek into our lives and recipes and menus but when it comes to current news in Israel and our opinions... We surely don't want the entire universe privy to the inner working of our minds...
Thank you Yael!
