What do you do once the kids are in bed b4 dh comes home?

I usually have at least an hour between my kids going to bed and dh coming home. I usually come on here!

Yeps, I'm also waiting for DH to come home. I usually come online and/or watch stuff on the computer.

Cleanup & wash dishes- usually while talking on the phone or listening to a tape.

Dh usually comes home the second the last kid is asleep, no matter when he comes home.

Dh usually comes home way more than an hour after my kids are asleep.

With two toddlers in the house all day I almost never do anything besides taking care of and playing with them, I have TONS of housework to do! So I do whatever I can't do when their up (like vacuuming as they're both terrified of the vacuum cleaner) I also do all my paperwork, etc.
But often lately, I've been studying and doing schoolwork and my dh does the housework when he gets home!

How late do your husbands come home? Or how early do your kids go to sleep???? My kids are NEVER in bed before my husband gets home unless he comes home really, really late and even then, my baby is still up!!!!! It's not like I ever have free time to find a use for Rolling Eyes

Clean Up!! First all the toys and then the kitchen....By the time the kids get to bed the house is usually in need of a good straightening!!!

Gosh, you have time before he comes home? Mine are in bed way after he's home.

My kids used to be so good at going to bed, and early. It's now 10.54pm and the eldest one woke the middle one, they're awake and driving me and each other crazy Sad

lucky you for having time before dh comes home! I remember those days....... Enjoy it now, cause they grow up quick!
