I am deciding whether to get a 33 inch or 39 inch highriser for a guest bedroom that is a very narrow bedroom, should I get the 33 inch and leave more space between the beds or get 39 inch which is probably more comfortable.

If you're planning to have couples over, do not go with 33 beds. Unless you want to have every couple over only one time. It is torture, especially for larger sized people. Rather give up space within the room than space in the beds.

According to many people there needs to be a certain amount of space between the two beds when a couple is in nidda. So if the room is so narrow that with two 39" beds there won't be enough space between the beds, you are creating problems for people and you may have the same issue of them never returning to you again.

exactly, you're both right, that's the dilemma, with 39 inch beds then I'm left with 5 inches between the beds, with 33 inches then I'm left with 17 inches.

If you get the 39 then no one over a certain age can sleep there if they dont want to be crawling in from the foot of the bed. 17" leaves just enough to go between and sit down and lie down normally so I would go with the 33.

39" all the way. I laugh just trying to think of DH fitting on a 33" bed. I would not contemplate going to someone if I knew there were 33" beds. Can you fit some sort of chair or table in between?

39. I'm also chuckling thinking about my DH showing up to a house to find 33 inch beds.
I didnt even know they sold those in the US- I thought it's an Israeli thing.

33. Small beds don't bother me but having to turn sideways to walk into or around a room makes me insane.

I'd go with 33". 39" may be a problem for niddah times, which I think is a bigger issue than having too-small beds. (And btw, I don't consider a 33" bed tiny, maybe because that was the only size we had when I was growing up.)

I wud go with the 39" bed for one reason alone, which pple hardly realize. if u buy a 33" bed u will only be able to find linen for them in the jewish strores which means more money. if u use 39" beds then u can get any linen in any store basically and find something cheaper.

Growing up I slept on 33 inch bed because my room was narrow and when we go back to my parents those are beds we get. They aren't so bad. Especially if it is only for a weekend (I did not mind them growing up at all)

Regarding the linen my mother uses regular twin sheets and I never really noticed that they were too big. Its only an extra 3 inches on each side.

If one is heavy/wide, 33 beds can be torturous. Literally.
