What age do boys stop dressing up for Purim?

Around what age do boys stop dressing up for Purim? I am not talking about when they go collecting for yeshivas, just at home delivering MM on Purim day.

My girls stopped at 12. My boys at 13.

it depends on your circle/community. by us boys, young men, husbands, fathers all still dress up.

I find that the ones who stop, do it about 12ish and then start up again in their older teens. It has more to do with not wanting to be a child and then later coming to terms again with the fun of Purim.

Sounds silly to me. The reason for dressing up is the same and still there whether the person is 3, 13 or 60. I say people stop dressing up when they don't want to.

My boys are still young. But I answered Never because dh still loves dressing up - the same costume every year. (For megilla he wears shabbos clothing, but after that...)

I think when they are 12-13 they stop with the full costumes and just put on some cute accesories.

From what I've seen, boys past bar mitzvah may choose to dress a little kooky/punky, with spiked hair and very casual clothing. Of course, many dress like this all the time.

At around ages 10-12, I found that boys usually get into the stage where they think dressing up is "babyish" and "nerdy".

A funny tie, hat, shirt, shoes, and/or suit... that's what my brothers do at a certain age. My father is in his 60s and he still gets dressed with a funny yarmulka, suit, or tie.

My 25-yr-old still dresses up for Purim.

My dh stopped in his 40s b/c he ran out of ideas but I know some men in their early 50s who still dress up. I guess they have more imagination than he does.

There is an old man in shul who groggs his giant wooden grogger even after the baal korah calls for silence. Some boys never grow up!
