Can anyone give me advice on how to take care of this?

My bathroom is small and a bit stuffy. It has one small window. Evrytime we take showers or baths the walls grow spots of mold! I try airing out the room- opening windows and doors after showers, but it doesn't help.

The mold can be washed off usually with a washcloth, but how can I get it to stop coming back??

TIA!

you really wont be able to get it to completely go away unless you find the route of the mold but that is probably just because the bathroom is always getting wet and the moisture is building up.

you can try bleach, that might help. if not, there are specific cleaning things just for mold that are supposed to kill the mold, but then again, the bathroom is very small and if the windows and door is opened and it is not helping it might just be a permanent thing.

I use an anti mold spray that seems to help. We also have no ventilation in the bathroom, the window actually leads out to dh's study which is part of the boys' room! It's awful. That's why we keep the door open except if someone is in there. Doesn't look great but it's facing our bedroom anyhow and no one sees it, but the ventilation except when someone is showering or using the toilet is important.

bleach... tried and true! We sprayed it about 2 months ago and I am starting to see some grow again but I don't mind spraying it every few months to kill it. I don't think there is any way of getting rid of it completely like was said there is just too much moisture and not enough air...

What kind of paint did you use in the bathroom? There is special kitchen and bathroom paint available that is mildew (and presumably mold) resistant. It did the trick for us.

You might want to consult a handyman (or other professional) - if the mold is that persistent, you might have mold behind your walls and then it is also a health issue and no longer just an aesthetic one.
