Chopped/ground meat- israeli recipe?

looking for something to do with chopped/ground meat that is Israeli style as part of a main course for our israel style meal on Shabbos...any ideas??

I dont know if this is israeli style, but what I always do is saute the chopped meat then put it on bottom of a dish as a first layer, and the second layer I put avocado, gp and salt, and the top layer I put a mixture of mayo and salsa or mayo and matbucha, then I put tortilla chips/doritos around it. its yum.

I've seen people put flavored / sauted ground beef on top of chumos for an appetizer before. It's actually tastier than it sounds...

racheleve I always order that when we go out to eat it is so good. u can also maybe make a salad with it. salads always seem israeli to me. I do lettuce, tomato, sauteed ground beef with ortega taco seasoning or just spices, doritos and thousand island dressing. good luck cooking
