I didn't know there was a difference between the two. So when we made our last order and ordered baby dry..I realized it's anything "but dry". My baby falls asleep with a bottle and if she has a refill in mid of the night she wakes up soaked! Is it just me? I would love to hear from others...

They couldn't be more different!
Baby Dry is a cheaper version of Pampers, and they are nothing like the Cruisers, which really absorbs and keep everything away from the skin.

I stopped using pampers baby dry when they "upgraded" the side panels to be like the cruisers. Those stretchy nothings don't cut it with my kids. That's why I never liked huggies. Now I use luvs b/c they are the only diapers left with full side coverage.

In my experience, only Cruisers (and Swaddlers for newborns) hold pretty much everything and don't leak. Oh, and don't cause rash, like one brand I used did.

thats funny cause the lining of the cruisers irritated my kids and they leak horribly. The baby dry worked better for us and we have stuck with them. I still shudder thinking of that 2 wk stretch we used the cruisers.

I guess each kid is different. My kids also have smallish bottoms.

We had problems with Huggies and Pampers. Now I try to use Parent's Choice for daytime, and Luvs at night. I will order Luvs for all the time if I can't get to Walmart. Used to love White Cloud, but can't find it anymore. Target brand was so-so.

Parent's Choice & Luvs work best for us on boys/girls and baby/toddler/overnight for big toddler.

We like Baby Dry better than Cruisers - they work better for us (less leakage).

In fact I told my sil about them and she tried them (after using Cruisers) and agreed that the Baby Dry were better and now also only buys them.

Love the cruisers . I choose them over the baby dry and I order them online at amazon.com -the price is great.

What happened to the Cruisers' quality??? I've recently bought 2 diff. packs of size 5 (a small one at Walgreens and a box at BRU), and they seem just like Baby Dry, only in purple - they have that paper-like look, feel and "hold". Ideas anyone?
BTW, sz 4 was the same quality as usual.

If you ever have a problem with Pampers you should call them. My friend called and got a 10$ gift cert a few times. My kids all did really well in Cruisers and allways leaked in Baby Dry.

Pampers decided to be sneaky & change Cruisers during the holiday season. I guess they figured everyone would be too busy to notice. My kids leaked a lot more in December. I've been using the Cruisers Extra Protection (supposedly meant for nighttime. but I think cruisers used to be similar).

all depends on the shape of your baby's bottom - my girls both leak in cruisers and do best in baby dry - works well for me as they are cheaper too!

Baby Dry worked best by us. I got 1 pack of 2 yrs ago, and dumped half the pkg it was so bad.
But lately BabyDry has really changed. Now that Cruisers has that new DryMax, does it seem to work better? Or is that the change that made it terrible?
I don't know what to get anymore. I really need to toilettrain her just to not need anymore diapers in the house.

Baby Dry is perfect. My daughter can use them for 12-13 hours at night and nothing leaks thru..

I made the mistake of buying the baby dry with my big girl and she once leaked all over my leg!

Then with the twins I made the mistake of buying the cheaper Huggies (they also make two versions), a huge Costco sized box right before Pesach and they leaked also. Now I only buy Cruisers unless I want to get leaked on!
