| Ds had very clear speech very early bl"h, then started stuttering badly when baby sis was born. that was 7 months ago. He loves his sister but stuttering is not better, do I go for help or ignore?

| I would not worry, but get him evaluated for speech therapy all the same. It might make things worse if you comment on the stuttering to him. A speech therapist can advise you on what to do. Even if he doesn't get therapy, the evaluator can give you advice.

Check out this helpful site to find out all the Do's and Don'ts when dealing with a young child who has started stuttering. As well, it will give you guidelines as to when to get an evaluation and/or push for therapy.
