| If your coat is solid green, I think it would look cute. But, if your coat has a pattern I would go with solid boots.

I once read an article in a fashion magazine which claimed that women above 20 should not wear patterned rain boots and should stick to solid colors.
But you can choose not to listen to every piece of fashion advice you read.

I think it depends on your personal sense of style.
if you like the boots I say go for it! it will go fine with your coat
