Minced Garlic in a jar

For anyone who hasn't tried this - this minced garlic its so helpful and way better than those frozen cubes. It comes in a big jar in the pickle/dressing/oil section in the grocery and such a time saver! Any brand is really good- most come with an O-u and it really stays fresh and strong for months. Just a tip!

I have found it in the fruit and veggie aisle in shoprite, in the middle with the non kosher sun dried tomatos

This is all I use I never even buy it fresh anymore. One giant jar lasts for a couple of months! Very Happy

I use it too but only when I am in a rush and don't want to mess the kitchen up. It's awesome for that purpose.
Can't compare it to the fresh taste though Smile

I wonder if some of the antioxidants die when it sits in a jar.
There's nothing in this world like fresh garlic.

I totally agree with you that theres nothing like fresh. But when you're making 4 times the recipe of something and you need 20 minced garlic cloves theres nothing like dipping a spoon in a jar! Smile
