Recently I started thinking we women are really lucky to have a site like this, and I started feeling bad for the dh's that they don't have such a thing. But then I started to imagine what threads on such a site would look like... Wink

"Want DW to wear high heels but she claims they hurt! WWYD?"

"DW expects me to say good night EVERY night!"

"HELP!!! watching the baby today and dont know where the diapers are!!"

Anyone else wanna add?
(this is just for fun... I know not all men are like that. dont start screaming at me that youre dh knows where all the baby stuff are, etc.)

Imafather (sent in anonymously as "afather")
major crisis: wife cried to me last week that she has a huge ugly nose and she hates it. So I offered, maybe look into plastic surgery? & to my innocent suggestion she burst into hot big tears!!! (and is still not talking to me...)
help where did I go wrong THIS time????

Men generally have no interest in this type of site. Case in point is a message board I frequent that has a separate men's and women's forum. The women's forum is always active while the men's can go for months without a single post.

There was a thread like this a while ago. Adorable!
But I just want to say: There will never be an imafather.com for a couple reasons:
1) Men don't need to vent
2) Men don't ask for directions or advice
3) Which sections will they have anyway? Recipe Collection? Parenting our children? Shalom Bayis Issues and Dilemmas (I didn't notice there was a problem...)? Emotional Health? Fashion and Beauty? Manners and Etiquette? Mikva/Taharas Hamishpacha? All irrelevant. Goodness, men don't even Chit Chat!

Sorry Hashem loves me, but although you were not generalizing about all men, onlyme obviously had no problem doing so.

I must say it: Everything you just listed about "Men" does NOT apply to my husband. He always vents to me; HE is the one who insists on asking for directions while I tell him "Don't worry, I'll find it"; He asks advice all the time. Plus men don't Chit Chat? Shocked How about Shmoozers Club? My dh is one of the last to leave shul every Shabbos! He must be talking to some other guys who can't stop shmoozing!

Oh, I know, I know.... My dh is not like that either. My post was based on a bunch of imamother posts. Seems that the majority of men do fit this description.

"Help, the entire gallon of ice cream I got for shabbos is already gone. How did she do it?"

"Wife is exausted every night"

"dw says I don't help enough"

"my wife is a sahm, what does she do all day"

"how often do you call your wife every day?"

Aw, I wanted to send a blank post for what my image of imafather would look like but you can't do that. So imagine a ...blank post.
