Help with Show & Tell

My 5 year old dd has to make show & tell for Hilchus Shabbos. Has to relate to "toichen" (one can not blend on shabbos). Any ideas? Has to be something a 5 year old can show & can be something with food (though it doesn't have to be with food, kids like nosh!)

By us, that means no making avocado dip, egg salad or tuna fish with mayo on Shabbos. does that help you at all ?

do you want to send deviled egg in for the class to eat ?

By the way Tochen in hebrew is Grinding

Sorry to go off topic but I just had to say that egg salad is not tochen because tochen is only things that grow from the ground like grain or vegetables. Making egg salad however does have issues of lush (kneading). It can be done on Shabbos, but there are complicated halochos.

Now that I'm here, let's see if I can help with the original question. You can chop veggies up real fine to demonstrate how they may not be cut on Shabbos. Maybe a salad with pickles. You can serve whole pickles to demonstrate that they are not being chopped or ground. You can serve ice cream with wheat germ/and or chopped nuts on top. (Does this go in the crispy or soggy thread?)
