For those of you who make your own baby food...
How do u make a green bean puree? I would love to feed this to my baby but when I tried to make it it was stringy and choppy, not pureed.

I wouldn't serve an infant green beans for this reason. (why did you want to?) _________________ Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional. (I haven't finished growing up yet; I'm still a work in progress - until 120!)

| In a strong food processor it will puree.

Process very well, then pass through a reasonably coarse sieve - small lumps of bean, softened by cooking, should be fine I think, but the stringy parts will be kept out of it.
How old is the baby in question? If 6 months, I'd make it as purely mushy and unlumpy as possible, if 12 months I'd leave more texture in, although still not strings.

| Was never successful at that, but I would also try the sieve...

| I added a little water to the green beans in the food processor, and I don't remember any strings. My baby didn't like it, though. So I added corn to it, and then he ate it up.

Grin, I noticed that they have jarred green beans for baby food, so if they can make it I probably can too. Im trying to increase all the veggies he eats...
