I am trying to find a dark brown or light blue winter hat for my son in size 12-18 months.
I have checked gap,old navy, childrens place, gymboree...
and cant seem to find one.
I would prefer straps under neck, because Im afraid he will pull the hat off.
I dont want to spend a ton, and I dont need it to come with gloves...I already have those.
any ideas would be appreciated...

where are you located? if you live in bp, you can try the local hosiery stores. They have some nice ones.

If you're going to the hosiery stores in BP (BTW, Lakewood hosiery stores have some, too), go to Sox on Sixty, 18th bet 59th and 60th. I picked up an adorable one there. It's very warm, has ear flaps, and ties under chin. They had a really cute selection (def for boys, didn't look at girls). g' luck.

I know the hosiery stores have nice ones, but when I was there for something else I peeked at the price of one hat and it was $32! isn't that exorbitant for one little baby hat?or is that a normal price to spend?or are there cheaper ones and I just looked at the wrong one?

I got a pretty and warm hat in the local store for twenty bucks. The kid needs a warm hat that is cute and fits nicely because he wears it every day for like six months.

By search, type in hats.

Or look under "his layette"
Just realized that they don't have straps though.

I don't know why it works like that!
A lot of times, when I type s/t into the search, things come up that you don't see in the regular format...

do you think I can by 18-24 months for my 12 month old?
The sizes are 6-12 months, and then it jumps to 18-24 and then 3T/4T

I have a size 6-12 months for my 5 month old , and it fits her well with room to grow into it. I'm assuming it runs true to size....

If he has a big head, you may be able to get away with it...
