Any ideas for a "Vayechi" theme??

Ok... it's Bar Mitzvah time again!
I"H this will be Bar Mitzvah #3.

Our last Bar Mitzvah was on Chanukah, so I had it easy with a Chanukah theme! I handmade all the centre pieces and decorations myself.

I'm not sure how ambitious I can get this time as I have a 10 month old baby, which is not really condusive to crafting!

But anyway, if any of you scholarly imamothers have some ideas for me, I would be very grateful!!

My sons name is Noam Mordechai and as I mentioned, his parsha will, I"H, be Vayechi.

Yaakov's brochos to the shvatim. You could have the smalim of each shevet that they had on their flag - like Yehuda = lion, Naftali = swift deer etc.

You have almost enough sons for each one to represent one, no? Wink

I like shalhevet's idea. [But I'm partial - I LOVE birchas Yaakov...all because of my wonderful 4th grade teacher and her songs; I have it memorized to this day.]
