I love 'glamour' and 'elegance' though I am far from it I do try. Wink

Retro. Most of my clothes are so old they are collecting social security. If you wait long enough they get back in style.

whatever is clean...
but if life were different....I'd like classic, simple, solid colors (no patterns) tailored clothing (like suits)
When dressy styles like Coco Chanel (horrible Nazi sympathizer though she was)...

but for right now...whatever is clean..

I also like classic solid colors. Not all black, but nothing bright or flashy either.

I'm classy with a bit of an edge. I would dress trendier if I had a different job, so I try to "squeeze it in" with my patterns or accessories.

Classy and a little trendy. I don't like to go trendy all the way.
You'd typically see me in a fitted pencil skirt (often jeans), a fitted top and stiletto boots or pumps. My earings or belt will usually be the only really trendy thing I wear.

Truthfully, I like color, even though I tend to dress conservatively, esp. in the winter. In the summer when fabrics are lighter I like bright things. My kids shudder sometimes, but I have 3 stock phrases:

You don't have to wear it.

You didn't pay for it.

I'm old, not dead.

I LOVE the classy Ann Taylor or Brooks Brothers look! I try to dress like that... sometimes difficult due to location/ stage in life! But as long as im not compromising Tznius these days, im fine Embarassed

I too like classic pieces in solid dark colors.
I like to dress my clothes up with classic scarves, trendy belts, etc. And hats. Gotta love the hats.

Hmmm

My winter weekday style I guess you could call preppy/jcrew- short corduroy or denim skirts, boots or ballet flats, tights, lots and lots of layers- chunky sweater over cardigan over button down over a tshirt, scarves, a LOT of different colors in one outfit Smile

not too many patterns- the occasional narrow stripe or small flowered pattern maybe. Most of my colors are in the blue/white/oatmeal/grey families, with a little green thrown in.

Shabbos all year I like pencil skirts with silky tucked in tops, maybe with a cardigan in the winter time. Some patterns, but I'm very picky so it's hard for me to find ones I like. Tights in the winter, stockings in the summer, always with heels. Also dresses, but again I'm picky so it's hard to find.

Summer is much simpler- long skirt and a tshirt Smile

I have the Gap long sleeve favorite T in about 12 colors, at last count Smile

I would love the same style but with a bit of stretch so if you know where to get those let me know.

80% of the time I'm an Orthodox Hitchcock Heroine with knees covered, no bare arms, no plunging necklines.. Pencil skirts, a-line skirts, heels, tailored but not tight. Attractive blouses, belts, lady-like accessories. I used to like AT until the new CEO started and their clothes became more shapeless.

20% of the time I'm "frummie mummie" with longer skirts that mean I can sit on the floor and play with my dd.

I'm trying to negotiate now being pregnant. I'm feeling more shapeless than ever...

regular day short skirts from denim to khaki, with short sleeve bright colored shirts with 3/4 under, short socks and my all time favorite, my orange crocs Smile

live in them, they go with every shabbos out fit I have Wink

shabbos is any shirt thats not to weekday, and any skirt that looks good w the shirt.

all else:
old navy old navy old navy, now thats my flavor of the year Smile
