ISO lawyer to deal with employer not granting off on yomtov

I have a friend living in San Francisco, working in a hotel. For the past few years they always granted off on yomtov and Shabbos.

This year they do NOT want to allow off days on yomtov anymore.

I need a good lawyer to deal with this.

Any suggestions. Any agenies or organizations that I could contact?

Sorry I don't have specific rec for an employment lawyer, but your friend do need to have a clear idea on what he/she wants. Is it a guarantee to get time off on yomtov, some kind of discrimination claims??? Resorting external lawyer's help is usually the most expensive and last-minute option. Is there a HR policy on how to handle employee complaints? Better yet, any room for striking mutually acceptable solution, such as volunteering to do early morning/late evening/secular-xtian holiday shifts?
