Women's Business Loans?

I have a great business that I can get into but the start up costs are huge (about $90,000). I can possibly raise $30,000 but no more. Have any of you qualified for a women's small business grant/loan? How much did you get? My DH has been trying to get a loan but the banks are only lending small amounts to already established businesses. I really don't want to lose out just because I don't have the capital. I cannot get a home equity loan as I don't own my own home. Any ideas would be very much appreciated.

You may do better looking for grants to minority-owned businesses. There IS $$ out there for women, you just have to look. Try private funders or government. I would also suggest your local SCORE office. Take your business plan there. Good luck!

What is the SCOUR COUNSELOR I too need a loan for a new business and would love to find something soon but don't know where to turn to.
