Late again...

I just really need to vent! I am sooo annoyed with myself. Confused

Tonight a thought just came into my head that I hadn't paid my cc bill in a while and I just wanted to be sure that the payment is pending. (I only pay online).
I log on and to my utter dismay it says in bold red lettering that my account is past due! Not by so much-only 9 days- but past due is just that. I already got the late fee and finance charge put on.
I am annoyed for a few reasons. 1- I am a pretty organized person, but at the same time can be sort of forgetful. So, when things slip through, I get upset at myself. 2- I thought I made a system that will make sure that the bills get paid on time. (this is the 3 time in two years that this happened- too many for me.) As soon as I get the bill in the mail, I set up the online payment. The problem comes when I dont get the bill! That is the only thing I can think of bec. I looked through all my filing and could not find the bill... 3- I like to pride myself (privately of course Wink

) on trying not to be late to anything. From paying bills to appointments. So, when this kinda of thing happens- it upsets me.

Oh- and I called the cc company and he said since they already did the 'one time courtesy refund' once before, he is not allowed to do it again for me. But, he said he would refer the case to his manager. I am hoping the manager is a nice one! But, even if not- as my DH says- this should be a Kaparah and better money then any of us!

You said you couldn't find the bill. Did you (mistakenly) opt out of paper statements? You might be receiving your bills online only.

credit card companys will usually change your payment date if you ask esp if you say you get your paycheck on certain days and then you can set all your payments to be on the same day or two and that makes it a lot easier to keep track of.
