What salads and dips can be made ahead and then frozen?
I'll start a list:
Chilbeh
Babaganoush/Chatzilim. My question is- if I make mine with scallions, is there a problem to freeze them?
Matbucha.
Chumus.
Techina. _________________ www.IsraelGlutenFree.com - Cheap gluten free flours and flour mixes

| Turkish salad freezes beautifully.... You might refer to it as spanish eggplant. It's sauted peppers, onions, eggplant, with tomato paste, cumin, salt.

I prepare just the eggplant (process it) then freeze it w/o the other ingredients. I add the rest when I defrost but that takes minutes. (I don't think that mayo frezes well) _________________ http://aroundthedinnertable.blogspot.com/

(I don't think that mayo frezes well) | I make mine with techina. That freezes fine. My freezer is currently stocked with chatzilim, chilbeh, and matbucha. I don't think I even have room for anything else...
