I'm looking for a lentil dish that does not have starch fillers in it. Kind of like a plain old bean dish, with lots of flavor.
No burgers with eggs and bread crumbs, soups with barley etc.
Thanks in advance!

Should I just boil them, then add sauteed onions, garlic and salt?

Anyone?

You can make a lentil salad. Cook them. Add chopped parsley, scallions, colored peppers etc. Flavor with olive oil, lemon juice, cumin, salt etc.

Thank you greeneyes! Can I serve it warm?

No problem! I serve it cold, so I can't tell you whether or not it would be good warm. (I can imagine it would probably be good warm though.)
