Does anyone else get sick post fast?

I weaned myself from coffee, and drank tons pre-fast. Fasted fine. Then I ate. And now I'm sick. MILD fever (just under 100 resting) but feeling like a dishrag and dizzy etc.

What can I do so I don't feel sick the next two, three days?

yes which is one of the reasons I don't fast anymore except YK and 9 Av. At a certain age it's an indicator of other problems. Get a check up.

Not fever, but terribly weak and dizzy, and awful upset stomach for about 48 hours after.

My mother gets the same way -- fine during the fast, weak and dizzy for a day or two after. It just passes.

yes! I do! but not all the time. But after this fast I felt awful after eating, and now I have a crazy cough and cold....in the middle of the summer.blech.

I also dont fast out well. I find that if I only eat a drop and then eat nothing till next morning I will be fine. Sometimes even till afternoon.

Yes, after the fast I didn't eat much but felt really nauseous

I cannot eat bread, sugar or other simple carbs after a fast, they make me weak and dizzy.

I usually feel awful right after I break my fast and then crash right into bed (so during the last few hours of the fast, I try to focus on how awful I will feel after I eat!).

with age and pregnancies my fasting abilities have changed ... I get weak - huge headache - and not myself for a few days ... also fast only on yom kippur and tisha b'av for this reason ... and even that is getting to a point of Help

When I fast I can have stomach aches and cramping for like one week. It's really horrible.

The usual post-fast headache. I also feel chilly regardless of actual room temperature.
Though I went to bed early after having lots of liquid and fruits (plus cheese toast), and I felt fine Friday morning. Nothing that's too serious to deter me from fasting, thank G-d.

Now back to my first real coffee this morning--Mmmm. Now I feel like a human again!
