my baby had his bris today and is so unsettled. its 1:30 am and he just wants to be held. he wasnt like this b4 the bris. is there something else I can do or should be doing?

Just hold him and give him lots of TLC. Poor little boy... If he is really upset, maybe give him tylenol or something.

so its normal?? I am holding him. I am soooo tired!! I maybe slept 5 min and thats it. its already 3am!!!!

poor thing went through major surgery today - give him a break! hold him sooth him, it can take afew days till hes back to normal again. If he is really adgy give him tylenol to help him sleep better. Hatzlacha - this too shall pass....
and mazal tov - lots of nachas!

also, make sure that he has some wet diapers. It can happen that the bandages are too tight and it constricts the flow of urine. this can be very painful and dangerous as the toxins build in his body... just something to be aware of and look out for.

mazal tov! lots of nachas. dont be too concerned. it doesnt hurt them that much. dont forget u r probably overreacting too. the babies dont always cry because of the bris. take it easy it will go by very fast.
