| I am in middle of making an easy no mixer chocolate cupcake recipe that calls for 2 cups of granulated white sugar. I only have 1-2/3 of a cup. Can I add 1/3 cup confectioners sugar to my regular white sugar?

of course ... but I was going to suggest using a bit more since it fluff up to become the confectionery consistency ...
