New Hot Plate

I need a new hot plate. I have an older Salton one that is great, but tiny (2 dish max) and a new Toastess one that broke 5 months after I bought it Mad

I called Toastess to see about getting it repaired and they were no help. It is too bad because it was huge and worked well. I need a new one! Any good brands? Where can I buy one online?

I am also looking to buy a hot plate. I went to a discount store the other day, they had two brands, Penko and Klass. The guy working there told me to buy Penko because customers complained that Klass got too hot and burned the food. Any insight into the truth of this?

no idea, just a word of caution, if you're putting it on formica countertops ALWAYS put tin foil underneath it! Those hot plates are a fire hazard!!
