I'm noticing a few big roaches around my house.
how do I get rid of them???? (safely -- I have little kids including a crawling baby in my house)

| combat roach traps are the best and safest. they take a while to work, but once they get going, the roaches get gone. Just stick them in inaccessible places.

| Also, make sure to keep the house as clean as possible. That means, aim for no food crumbs anywhere (hard I know with kids). Try to wash dishes as soon as you use them, and don't let them sit in the sink. Wipe up all crumbs, and don't let food cool on the stove. This is what I had to do when we had roaches at our old apartment. I had to do this for a few weeks.
