Some parts were funny and some parts made me cringe. Whenever actors try to copy Chassidim I cringe because not only is it so fake, but because it's based on the stereotype that Chassidim are know-nothing-do-nothings, and I know very well that's not true.

My favorite joke was the one with the shvigger Very Happy. It's a very cutely done clip, what should I tell you. Modi looks pretty convincing as a Belzer guy LOL. The best thing of this whole clip is that for a couple of hours, these secular jews wore yarmulke andn tzitzis... (though I'm sure they didnt make a brocha on the tzitzis). anyway, here's the original clip so you can see the end:

I didn't see any additional ending on your link. Are your sure this is the right link?

I'm sorry, but DH and I thought it was hilarious!

We've seen Modi (he goes by his first name only) in NY comedy clubs before, and he's a riot!

I loved the true to life yiddish expressions, I don't see what's so offensive here.

well if it needs to be spelled out, having a chossid do all this stuff, dance with women, shake their hands... don't you see what's bad about that? He's doing stuff that are totally against halacha... it's degrading!

the bit at the end is not part of the movie, it's the 'blooper reel'.

Eh. I was neither mortally offended nor particularly amused, and the promo didn't make me want to rush out and see the film. Or even put my name on a waiting list for when it goes to video.

Two previous posters questioned the kashrus of the drinks they were drinking. To set the record straight, they were at Coffee Bean. This is a chain similar to Starbucks. But, unlike Starbucks, all the Coffee Beans in LA and Orange counties are kosher, cholov stam. There is also one cholov yisroel location, but not the one they were at. So, in their defense, although they did not make a bracha (as far as we could see) the drinks were, in fact, kosher.
