Kiki, Claires and long sheitel questions.

First are you happy with your kiki?
I tried on a gorgeous 17" wavy kiki yesterday. I loved it. My SIL thought it was too long for me ("You're trying to be an 18 year old kallah"). I could cut it but I'm scared of losing a lot of the wave at the bottom.
Is 17" long for a sheitel?
How long could I expect a wavy to stay in the sheitel?
I also went to another store where they said if you want Wavy Claire is the way to go. They looked beautiful but I was scared of them poofing up on me in the summer. The lady said they are easy to maintian if you know how.
Any opinions? I'm so confused. I know exactly what is going to happen. I'm going to go another year not getting a sheitel because I cannot make a decision. Sad

Are you talking about the Claire Accuhair or the Clary?

I always wonder how these long shaitels keep their curls or waives. Are they constantly kept in curlers???

Sky, Pls. share any off site info you find out. I am also in the market for a new wig and am kinda interested in a long wavy one, myself.

I don't think 17" is long. I have an 18" and a 20" and I want an even longer one. but that's just me.

I believe clary is having a $225.oo off sale. They make really nice curly ones. I'm not 18 either but I still love to wear a long one. I am tall so I hear I can carry it off. Buy what feels good for you.

I spoke with two different sheitel machers who both say that brand is really good at holding longer styles. It must be European hair and less processed, I guess, than all the Mongolian hair sheitels I have been seeing. Am I right?

I am not in NY, but I am really leaning towards KiKi. I wonder where I can get it out of town.

Would you tell me in a PM how much you paid? If u don't feel comfortable, I totally understand. Just trying to wrap my head around prices.

I have a Kiki and love it!!! It never knots & always looks good. I have other sheitels that get knotty, but this one doesn't.
And 17 inches isn't long at all!!! It's a perfect length! How old are you? Ur sil makes you sound 80! Smile
