just so you know, parmesan cheese is often a hard cheese. which means it has been aged for six months or more. cheese shouldn't go bad that quickly. it's already been aged for six months, you think it can't last another six months?
and just so people realize, because it's hard cheese you should be waiting six hours between that and fleishigs. check with your lor to see if your parmesan is considered hard cheese or not. (or the company. whichever makes you happier.)
