what age are they supposed to sit up?
when should you get concerned?

I think between 6-9 months

I wouldn't be concered before a year

My kids never really "sat up". When they were of an age when I thought it was past time they did, I placed them on the floor in a sitting position and lo and behold they didn't topple over. But I never saw them raise themselves from lying on the floor to a sitting position.

myds is3 mnths and is trying to sit up already although he cant really

my daughter sat up by herself a few days ago. she isn't 4 months yet but she is doing everything early.
