does anyone have the recipe for the terra chip salad

Do you have Kosher Palate? There's a terra chip salad in that cookbook. I was actually directed to that recipe by Lani22, & I've been making it ever since. (Thanks, Lani!) I usually make the salad with romaine lettuce, avacado, different colored peppers, terra chips or sticks & I use the dressing from the kosher palate.

If you don't have the cookbook, I can gladly type out the recipe for you. Very Happy

Terra Chip Salad

1/3 cup oil (I cut down on the oil)
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
3 T. ketchup
2 T. grated onion (or minced onion, the kind that comes in a spice bottle)
1 head romaine lettuce
1 cup spinach leaves
1/2 red bell pepper, cut into thin strips
1/2 yellow bell pepper, cut into thin strips
1 avocado, peeled, pitted, & cubed
1 (6 oz.) pkg. slivered almonds
1 (4 oz.) jar pine nuts
1 (6 oz.) package Terra chips, divided

Combine oil, vinegar, sugar, ketchup, & onion in a cruet or jar. Cover tightly & shake vigorously; set aside.

Tear & combine lettuce, spinach, peppers, & avocado in a large bowl. sprinkle with almonds & pine nuts.

To serve, add dressing, tossing to coat. Crumble 3/4 package of chips & sprinkle on top. Arrange whole chips around edge of bowl as a garnish.

(I omit the spinach, almonds, & pine nuts, & it's still delicious.)
