Please how to deep fry for us without deep fryers???? I'd like to try this.

I dont have a deep fryer either. I usually use a Dutch oven. Or a small and deep enough pot. No difference compared to using a deep fry-er

How thin do you roll out the dough? Thin like for a sugar cookie? Or leave the dough puffy and thick (like me after I eat them)?

you roll them thin ... they rise a bit in the hour ... they puff up during frying

How many do these make?
Usually I make one batch for the entire chanukah and put the cut dough in the freezer and take them out half an hour before candlelighting. We're 7 ppl this year, will this last the entire chanukah? or should I double or triple?

update: a double batch made 37 donuts for me.
